First Impressions of a Third-Gen Game

Logging for the first time on a new MMO. How......blergh. Not to say that obviously I wasn't excited about it, but it's not reassuring to know that maybe putting down the 3 month subscription wasn't such a good idea. But there was one thing that made me itching to play it. Blood Mages. Having played Warcraft 3, the one thing I had expected from WoW was to be able to play as them. Sadly, that wasn't to be, and so I was excited to hear that this was an addition.

On the subject of WoW, I can't imagine why I didn't pick up Vanguard sooner. The initial rush wore off after about the first two weeks when BC came out, mainly due to the fact that my attention span just wasn't gonna let me get to 70. That's rather pathetic, but hey, we're all different.

Back to Vanguard. The first thong when I logged on was the vague outline of hills. Not good, I thought, my RAM won't cope. Three seconds later, it was loaded, with my High Elf Blood Mage. The first thing I did was attack some Kaons around me. I didn't even see the lady who gave me the quest for them. And so, I pulled three of them, and died. Pfff, not a good start.
